Evon joined PCL/F in July of 2007 with a background in California water policy and planning. She is an Advisory Committee Member to the Department of Water Resources in their California Water Plan Update 2009 and 2013 processes. In the summer of 2010 Evon began a speaking tour across California educating a myriad of state stakeholders on the Water Neutral Development option. The speaking tour educated over a thousand professionals on how California can meet housing needs in the future while reducing and offsetting the water demands of new homes. She is the co-facilitator of the California Water Summit, a coalition of over 50 groups working on Californian water issues, and other outreach efforts throughout the state. Evon is also an elected to be a member of the Public Officials for Water and Environmental Reform (aka POWER) California Water Policy Conference Planning Committee member. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, receiving two degrees: Environmental Studies (with an Urban and Environmental Planning emphasis) and The History of Art and Architecture (with an Architecture and the Environment emphasis).
